I see a wedding reportage as continuous coverage of your day — not a series of set pieces. From the agreed time onwards I am there, watching, staying in the background, capturing what actually happens. My focus is on real moments, moods and connections — from getting ready into the evening, if that is what you want. At Bavarian weddings with several locations and a full programme, staying flexible matters to me: I never take over your day.
Very quietly. What matters to me is that you live your day without thinking about the camera. That is how honest images come about — images that still move you years later.
Absolutely. Trust is not built on the wedding day, it is built before. We usually start with a call, followed by a longer video call in which I show you complete wedding reportages.
All the good images from your wedding, in full resolution. I deliberately work without image limits. After your wedding I go through every frame carefully and edit each selected image individually. Quality and meaning always come before an artificial number.
On your wedding evening. You and your guests get a first selection on your phones via QR code — right after the celebration. The full gallery follows in the weeks after, in full resolution and without watermarks, stored securely for at least three years.
Yes. Every image you receive is edited individually — colour, contrast and a calm, timeless look that suits your wedding. I do not deliver untouched raw files, I deliver a finished body of work.
Yes. Part of the set is also finished in black and white. I use it where it carries the mood or the emotion of a moment. For me black and white is a means of expression, not an effect.
Yes. I am glad to help you plan the timing of your day — especially around light, quiet stretches and transitions. It is not about controlling your day, it is about avoiding stress and creating realistic windows in which real moments can happen. With several venues or stations, that coordination helps a lot.
Weddings rarely run exactly to plan — and that is completely fine. I work flexibly and adapt as things shift. Rain, delays or changes to the programme are no problem. Often it is exactly those situations that produce the most honest, most emotional images, because nobody planned them.
Yes. Alongside photography I also make wedding films. You can book them together with the photography or on their own. The style is documentary, calm and close to the real moments — the same way I photograph.
Both work, and both have their trade-offs. When I cover photo and film alone, the day stays quieter and less noticeable. With a team of two — one on photo, one on film — you get more perspectives and more coverage. I will explain both openly so you can decide what fits you.
I recommend booking 8 to 12 months before your wedding, especially for the high season from May to September. For winter weddings a shorter lead time is often enough.
No. A reportage really comes into its own from about six hours — most couples book the day from getting ready to the party. But I am just as happy to cover civil ceremonies and small celebrations, in a more compact form.
Yes, in most cases. If your day runs longer than planned, or you decide on the spot that you would like me to stay, we can extend on site without any fuss.
After our conversation you receive an individual proposal tailored to your wedding. If it feels right, we put the booking in writing. Only then is your date firmly reserved for you.
Payment is transparent and follows a clear arrangement you receive in advance with the proposal. There are no hidden costs and no surprises afterwards.
My wedding reportages start at €2,500 — including every good image with no limit, and the QR preview on the evening of your wedding. Most couples choose full-day coverage for €3,200, from getting ready to the party. I also cover smaller weddings and civil ceremonies — the offer then follows your schedule. After our first call you will receive a personal proposal.
My focus is Bavaria, above all Upper Bavaria and the area around Munich. I regularly photograph weddings in the Alpine foothills and in very different settings — urban as well as close to nature. Many of my couples travel to Bavaria from abroad — everything runs in English.
Very gladly. Lake, mountain and castle weddings are among the weddings I cover most often in Bavaria. These places give a lot of room for emotional, timeless reportages and suit my documentary style perfectly.
